Day 5: Contented In The Gospel.

Introduction

Welcome to this 5-day reflection on contentment. My prayer is that as you read, you will open your heart to hear God's voice calling you to find true contentment in Him. 

Key Text: Complete in Thee 

I found no best way to end this reflection than requesting you to carefully read and pray through this Hymn. 

It was written by a man called Aaron R Wolf who left England, packed all his belonging to go study in the USA just to hear that all his belonging have drowned in the ocean.

In expressing this supernatural Contentment, He shares his contentment in the Complete Sacrifice of Christ for us, in knowing Christ will supply our needs and looks forward to When we will be fully satisfied in Him.

Complete in Thee!(you) no work of mine

May take, dear Lord, the place of Thine(Yours);

Thy(Your)  blood hath(has) pardon bought for me,

And I am now complete in Thee.(you) 

Refrain:

Yea, justified! O blessed thought!

And sanctified! Salvation wrought!

Thy(your) blood hath(has) pardon bought for me,

And glorified, I too, shall be!

Complete in Thee! no more shall sin,

Thy grace hath conquered, reign within;

Thy voice shall bid the tempter flee,

And I shall stand complete in Thee.

Dear Saviour! when before Thy bar

At Thy right hand, complete in Thee.
