Prayer: "May the Gospel Prevail"

I come before You with an open heart,
Laying down my pride and defenses—
With one simple, worthy prayer:
Let the Gospel conquer my world.

Tear down the castles of pride I’ve built,
Walls raised high with selfish ambition.
Break them apart with the power of Your truth;
Let no name but Yours be lifted high.

May the Gospel reign over all I am.
Shatter every false belief I hold,
Destroy the idols that compete for my heart,
And lead me back to You, my Lord.

Direct my desires along the path of wisdom;
Still my restless, wandering soul.
Guard me from the schemes of the enemy;
Cover me with Your strength and peace.

Bring an end to the divisions within me—
Unite my thoughts under Your truth.
Shape me into a servant of Your cause,
Faithful and bold in Your calling.

May the Gospel prevail—powerful and true—
My guide in the day, my hope in the night.
Lead me forward with Your unfailing grace,
Leading me to my LORD.
